Chris McMorris

Christopher is an emerging playwright and an accomplished actor from Chicago, Illinois. Christopher has found a home with BPI to grow and nurture his craft as a playwright.   His works In The Balance of Recklessness and The 7,000 Pound Elephant have been accepted into the National Black Theater Festival and the DC Black Theater Festival.    Christopher’s work, In the Balance of Recklessness was produced by Black Ensemble Theater, in the Sex Summer Series.   He was commissioned to write a short film the Greasy Plate by We Got Camera’s Films and Ark Productions which was accepted into the Las Vegas Cine-Fest.    Christopher continues to write and grow while enjoying this wonderful home at Black Playwrights Initiative.
