BE is the only theater in the nation whose mission is to eradicate racism. We utilize theater and educational outreach programs to bring people together in a community that fosters dialogue, respects differences while ultimately embracing and honoring our sameness as human beings.

BARTENDER/CONCESSIONS POSITION 

Black Ensemble Theater is seeking a Bartender/Concessions employee.  Looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide excellent customer service. Must be available during nights and weekends. Hourly pay and tips. *Bassett Certified

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare alcohol and nonalcoholic beverages for theater patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal requirements
• Operate cash register and take customer payments
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Work directly with theater management

REQUIREMENTS

• Resume and proven work experience as a Bartender
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Bassett Certified
